Research

BCS seeks to make a positive difference in the communities in which it operates. Research, evaluation and social policy assist BCS in extending its Vision of being a "passionate, innovative, Christian organisation" by helping us to understand the values and expectations of our clients and the communities we work with.

We are focussed on fostering a culture of reflection and improvement, building our knowledge and understanding and seeking to influence social policy at all levels. Through this we will make a positive difference to people's lives through delivering services that respond to the needs of people and create better communities to live in.

Research

BCS conducts its own research and partners with other NGOs and Universities. If you are interested in partnering with BCS to conduct research with our staff or clients, please contact the Research and Development Manager on (02) 9023 2500.

All research that BCS participates in is reviewed by its Human Research Ethics Committee who can be contacted by email ethics@bcs.org.au

Social Policy

BCS seeks to influence social policy by working with government and other decision makers by contributing to public debate on a range of social issues that are important to BCS.
